Peninsula Island Resort & Spa - Beachfront Property At South Padre Island

The swimming pool has an excellent size and distribution, the access to the beach is unbeatable.

The general maintenance of the hotel is very neglected. The furniture on the terrace of the restaurant is very good but the pool furniture is deteriorated and old.

Fantastic setting, extremely helpful staff.

The weather was wonderful, had really really nice stay for the price.

Bad cleaning didn't put coffee in the room

Everything was perfectly fine, responsive staff, bright views of the ocean. Well-equipped room, recently upgraded, had a large bathroom. Its location was excellent, on the Gulf, and in a very nice area. Plus it was max 10 mins walk to the lake. Truly enjoyed the restaurant for the continental breakfast.

Location right on the beach, good access, balcony with a view of sunrise and sunset! Nice pool bar.

I enjoyed my stay as the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were only a short walk from the scenic Queen Isabella Memorial Park and the vibrant Beach Park At Isla Blanca, perfect for my city strolls with beautiful views and relaxation points nearby.

hotel has just been renovated. construction sites everywhere! not so nice from the outside! air conditioning did not work to heat! breakfast was very bad because of the lack of decanting - waiting for supplies to arrive!

We loved how close the hotel was to the beach, perfect for our family with three young kids. The pool area was great, and we enjoyed visiting the nearby Schlitterbahn Waterpark. The atmosphere was really cute.

My kids wished there were more activities for children at the resort.

swimming pool is really huge, one part is heated and has a Jacuzzi, room is a good size and we had a partial view of the sea, continental breakfast was included and first class attention

Magnificent location, the hotel is equipped with a beautiful swimming pool area with sea view and a very pleasant access to the beach. The nice surprise was to discover a studio with kitchenette instead of the family room.

Aging hotel with facilities and equipment to be reviewed . The room was equipped with an extra bed in a convertible sofa, I dare someone in the hotel to sleep in it!! We were planning to have one of our children sleep there, we had to do otherwise. Also the beds are not very comfortable if you like a bed with support . The elevator is very slow ... but the steps are easy to reach . The breakfast offered by the hotel is a bit limited: it is offered just to say in a not very clean setting.

I loved the beachfront access. It made every morning special for long walks along the shore. The staff impressed me with their friendliness and willingness to help. The pool area felt inviting, made me want to spend my afternoons relaxing by the water. I enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Everything I tried was delicious. The room had some issues. The refrigerator didn't shut properly and was rusty. It made navigating the hotel a bit frustrating. The distance from the parking lot to the resort felt long, especially after a day on the beach. Organizing beach chairs took extra effort, annoying. Despite these hiccups, the beautiful location kept my spirits high.

The parking lot is very far away and so x whatever you fence to the car you have k walk about 1 ? blocks should have staff with enough golf carts to take them to the cars or outside the hotel
